A graduate of Rider University with a background in theatre, Phyllis holds a bachelor's degree in Education, a Master of Divinity and a D.Min. from Phillips Theological Seminary. Phyllis is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church, and associate pastor at First United Methodist Church in Wichita, KS.  As a biblical storyteller, she travels to a variety of groups, re-telling the biblical story in ways designed to make it fresh, new and personal for each member of her audience.  Her stories are published in The Storyteller's Companion to the Bible, Vol. 10:  The Gospel of John, and Vol. 13:  New Testament Women, as well as The Circuit Rider, Jan./Feb., 2001 and also available on CD.
